Hiring Timeline

  • Apply 

    Applications must be submitted through www.Governmentjobs.com.  You will need to submit an additional application for each position that you are interested in.

     

  • Application Review 

    Applications are reviewed and referred to the Hiring Manager once the posting closes.  Continous postings are reviewed weekly and referred to the Hiring Manger.  

     

  • Notification to Applicants 

    You will get e-mail notifications on www.Govermentjobs.com with status updates throughout the hiring process.  

     

  • Interview 

    If the Hiring Manger is interested in learning more about your skills and abilities, you will be notified to schedule an interview and/or complete skills testing.  This is a great opportunity for us to learn about you, and for you to learn more about us!  In some instances, you may be asked to attend a second interview.  

     

  • Final Hiring Steps 

    If you are offered a position with Olmsted County, you will then need to complete a background check.  Some positions have other pre-employment requirements.
